🏳️🌈 About Us:
We are thrilled to introduce the Home Rainbow Youth Centre, a collaborative initiative with PARN, to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for 2SLGBTQ+ youth (15-24 years old) and their allies. Our mission is to empower and uplift the community through educational leadership, skill development, events, recreation, and various tailored programs that cater to the needs and desires of our Youth Advisory Committee and local 2SLGBTQ+ Youth and allies.
Provides workshops geared towards specific service providers, such as nurses, counsellors, and police officers to ensure that LGBTQ+ youth are treated with respect in all areas of their lives. MORE INFOMATION TO COME IN APRIL
Safe Space: Providing a sanctuary where 2SLGBTQ+ youth can be their authentic selves, free from judgment or prejudice.
Support and Resources: We will provide access to vital resources, peer support, and mentorship to guide and empower our youth.
Educational Opportunities: Addressing discrimination through educational programs that promote awareness, inclusivity, and understanding.
Skill and Leadership Development: Equipping 2SLGBTQ+ youth with life skills, confidence, and leadership capabilities for personal growth and future success.
Community Engagement: Fostering connections, friendships, and a sense of belonging to combat social isolation.
Events and Inclusivity: Hosting diverse events that celebrate and promote diversity, fostering unity and acceptance.
